Critical Mass is a form of cycling activism - cycling enthusiasts gather and move along a specific route through the streets.
The idea is based on an old Latin proverb - "safety is in numbers", the more we move together, the less danger that cars create.
The meeting is held once a month, on the last Friday of the month, and is held in many countries around the world.
