Critical Mass is a form of bicycle activism - bicycle enthusiasts gather and move on a specific route to the streets.
The idea is based on the old Latin proverb - "safety is in numbers", the more we move together, the less danger that automobiles create.
The gathering is once a month, on the last Friday of the month and is held in many countries around the world.
