Brevet Telegram Bot Instructions

Step-by-step instructions for linking Telegram, starting a brevet ride, and checking in at checkpoints.


Before the Brevet

  1. Register on ccn.ge.
  2. After logging in, register for an active brevet.
  3. After registering for the brevet, you will receive a confirmation by email.
  4. Open the CCN brevet bot in Telegram (@ccn_brevet_bot).
  5. In the Telegram bot, tap Start Bot and then Link CCN Account.
  6. Send the bot the same email address that you use for your ccn.ge account.
  7. A 6-digit code will be sent to that email address. Copy it and send it to the Telegram bot.

Your ccn.ge account and the brevet bot are now linked. That is all you need to do with the bot before the brevet starts.

How to Start the Brevet and How the Brevet Bot Helps

  1. With the help of the brevet bot, you will be able to check in automatically at checkpoints.
  2. You will no longer need to carry a brevet card with you. At checkpoints, there will be no need for an organizer to record your time and signature, and you will be able to track your results in real time.
  3. On the official brevet start day, open the bot 10 minutes before the start time and tap Start Ride.
  4. After tapping Start Ride, complete self check-in at every checkpoint and at the finish.

How Checkpoint Self Check-In Works

  1. Scan the QR code at the checkpoint.
  2. If the QR code does not work, open the bot and send CODE XXXX, which will be shown above the QR code. Example: CODE CP1-TANZIA-8712
  3. The bot will ask for your location. Share your current location in Telegram.
  4. The bot will ask for a photo. Take a selfie at the checkpoint and send it to the bot.
  5. Wait for the bot’s reply. If the check-in is confirmed, continue riding to the next checkpoint.

Finish

  1. Use the same self check-in process at the finish.
  2. Your finish will be confirmed automatically, your result will be saved in the system, and your brevet will be successfully completed.
  3. To view your status, use the My Brevet button.

Important Things to Know

  • You must use the same Telegram account that is linked to your ccn.ge account.
  • You cannot start a second active brevet at the same time.
  • If your brevet registration has not been approved, the bot will not allow you to start.
  • If you changed your Telegram account, contact the organizer before starting the brevet.

Brevet Bot FAQ

When can I press Start Ride?

Only when the brevet is active and no earlier than 10 minutes before the official start time.

Why do I need to link Telegram to my ccn.ge account?

Linking confirms your rider identity and lets the bot load the correct brevet registration, check-ins, and finish result.

What if QR scanning does not work?

Send CODE and the printed fallback code to the bot, example: CODE CP1-TANZIA-8712, then continue with location and photo.

Can I start two brevets at the same time?

No. One Telegram account can only have one active brevet ride at a time.
