A cycling challenge for women and girls inspired by Giro d’Italia Women
From Saturday, May 30 to Sunday, June 7, 2026, Giro d’Italia Women, one of the major women’s road cycling races, will take place in Italy.
Over 9 days, the riders will cover 1,153.7 km with approximately 12,500 m of elevation gain.
To celebrate this important event in women’s cycling, CCN invites women and girls to take part in the CCN Women’s Giro Challenge 2026.
What is the CCN Women’s Giro Challenge?
The CCN Women’s Giro Challenge is a free cycling challenge created for women and girls. Its goal is to support women’s cycling, encourage more women to ride bicycles, and celebrate active and independent movement.
The winner will be the participant whose result comes closest to the total distance and elevation gain of Giro d’Italia Women.
Who can participate?
The challenge is open to all women and girls. It does not matter:
- where you live;
- what type of bicycle you ride;
- how many days you need to complete your rides;
- whether you are an experienced cyclist, a beginner, or simply enjoy riding.
You can ride in 1 day, 2 days, or across the full 9 days. Choose the time that works best for you, ride at your own pace, and record your activity on Strava or Komoot.
How to participate
To join the challenge, you need to:
- message CCN on Facebook or Instagram;
- send your completed routes as Strava or Komoot links to: info@ccn.ge;
- take at least one photo during each ride and tag CCN.
When will the winners be announced?
The winners will be announced and awarded on June 14.
Participation is free and open to all interested women and girls.
