  • Stage 1 (Batumi) – Individual Time Trial | 12 km
  • Stage 2 (Batumi / Khulo) – Road Race | 80 km
  • Stage 3 (Kobuleti) – Circuit Race | 40 km
  • Stage 4 (Batumi) – Circuit Race | 32 km

Information About the Ajara Open Championship

  • Teams and cycling clubs from different regions of Georgia will take part in the event.
  • We are also expecting riders from Armenia and Azerbaijan.
  • Amateur cyclists are welcome to participate with proper road bikes and appropriate racing equipment.
  • Each stage will have its own stage winner, while the overall Ajara Champion will be determined by the total points accumulated across all four stages.
  • Winners will be awarded medals, certificates, trophies, cash vouchers, and special prizes provided by partner companies and supporters.
  • Registration will take place at the start/finish area from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM.

Categories

Boys

  • Junior Category: Riders born between 2008–2012
  • Elite Category: Riders born in 2007 and earlier

Girls

  • One combined category for riders born in 2012 and earlier.

Stage Details

Stage 1 – May 28

Individual Time Trial – 12 km | Batumi

The opening stage will take place in Batumi along the right bank of the Chorokhi River, starting near the Gonio Bridge and finishing at Makho Bridge.

Stage 2 – May 29

Road Race – 80 km | Batumi → Khulo

Stage 2 will start near the Alphabet Tower in Batumi. Riders will roll out together through Batumi’s central streets before the official race start outside the city limits.

The finish line will be located in the center of Khulo.

Race distance: 80 km

Younger boys and girls categories will compete on a shortened course of approximately 40–50 km.

Stage 3 – May 30

Circuit Race – 40 km | Kobuleti

The third stage will take place on Aghmashenebeli Street near the Sports School in Kobuleti.

Format: 20 laps with 10 intermediate sprints

Lap distance: 2 km

Stage 4 – May 31

Final Circuit Race – 32 km | Batumi

The final stage will be held on the newly renovated Chavchavadze Avenue in Batumi.

Format: 20 laps with 10 intermediate sprints

Lap distance: 1.6 km
